on september 19, thousands of cantonese merchants, including famous entrepreneurs from guangdong province, representatives from across the country and celebrities from hong kong, macao and other countries, gathered in guangzhou and participated in 2017 cantonese merchants conference sponsored by guangdong provincial government and guangdong provincial committee of the cppcc. ma xingrui, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee and governor of guangdong province, and xu lejiang, vice-minister of the united front work department of cpc central committee and secretary of the leading party group of all-china federation of industry and commerce, made important speeches. li yumei, director of the standing committee of the provincial people’s congress, lin shaochun, member of the standing committee of the provincial party committee and executive vice governor of the provincial government, and zeng zhiquan, member of the standing committee of the provincial party committee attended the conference. the conference was hosted by wang rong, chairman of the provincial committee of the cppcc. chen kaixuan, president of liby group was invited to attend the conference and was seated in the rostrum together with central and provincial leaders and entrepreneur representatives.
in the conference, president chen kaixuan, on behalf of liby group, signed a cooperation agreement with conghua district government with an investment amount up to 8.5 billion yuan between conghua international medicine port bio-pharmaceutical base and southern china innovative and intelligent production base.
in recent years, liby group was actively making a strategic layout of the “one port and one base” massive health industry. the agreement was reached for “one base” project. “one port” refers to guangzhou international medicine port, which will be a portal and hub of “bri” massive health industry, a demonstration plot of massive health industry internet, an international health city of guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area, a cluster district of enterprises of domestic and overseas massive health industries, an incubation base of international bio-pharmaceutical industry and a medicine port attracting enterprises of the massive health industry. “one base” project and guangzhou international medicine port will form a mutually corresponding, complementary and supportive development pattern and the former will offer support for r&d, production and logistics of the medicine port. in future, “conghua base” will become an integrated ecological production base of the massive health industry, which can promote the development of the bioindustry of conghua and create new growth points of the bio-pharmaceutical industry of guangzhou.
