on june 23, the 15th member representative conference of guangzhou industry and commerce association (general chamber of commerce) was grandly held in guangzhou baiyun international convention center. ren xuefeng, deputy secretary of guangdong provincial party committee and secretary of guangzhou municipal party committee, liu yuelun, chairman of the municipal committee of the cppcc, ouyang weimin, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee, chen zhiying, member of the standing committee of the municipal party committee and executive vice mayor, lu yixian, member of the standing committee of the municipal party committee and minister of the united front work department, guo hanyi, vice-minister of the united front work department of the provincial party committee and secretary of the leading party group of the provincial industry and commerce association, tang hanghao, deputy director of the standing committee of the municipal people's congress, yu jianshe, vice-chairman of the municipal committee of the cppcc, yao jianming, vice-chairman of the municipal committee of the cppcc, co-chairman of the municipal democratic national construction association and section chief of the municipal quality and technology supervision bureau, and zhang hongbin, vice-chairman of the provincial industry and commerce association attended the conference. chen kaixuan, president of liby group attended the conference and was reelected as vice-chairman of the municipal industry and commerce association.
in the conference, president chen kaixuan was seated in the rostrum as a member of the leading group of the municipal industry and commerce association. the conference adopted resolutions of the 15th member representative conference of guangzhou industry and commerce association and through full deliberation elected a new leading group of the 15th executive committee by secret ballot. president chen kaixuan was reelected as vice-chairman of the municipal industry and commerce association.
secretary ren xuefeng met the new leading group of the municipal industry and commerce association and had a symposium with them. he stressed that private economy was an important part of guangzhou’s economy and the municipal party committee and the municipal government highly valued economic growth of private enterprises. with the fine tradition of daring to forge ahead, private entrepreneurs should grasp the golden period, window period and opportunity period of guangzhou, further boost confidence, widen international view, persist in carrying out reform and innovation on the basis of openness, emphatically intensify scientific management, foster core technologies, create standards and brands, enhance development capability and make greater contributions to strategic restructuring of guangzhou’s economy. president chen kaixuan expressed in the conference that liby group will continue to grow stronger and bigger, actively perform social responsibility and make new and greater contributions to social and economic development of guangzhou.
in the evening, the municipal industry and commerce association observed the grand inauguration of the 15th executive committee, in which deputy secretary ouyang weimin issued the appointment letter to president chen kaixuan.
